That said, if you already have V-Collection, dig into SEM V a little bit - it also has a couple of per-voice tweaks (mainly position in the stereo field) that can be fun to mess with. With all the other stuff I have, I could certainly live without it if I had to, but I think OP-X Pro II is different enough from the others to still be worth keeping around. In addition to having OP-X Pro II, I also have Diva, Repro, V-Collection, Komplete Ultimate, OmniSphere, Falcon, and more. Definitely try out the demo, at the very least. Or bass or lead lines where each note is almost imperceptibly different from the last, as it cycles through the voices, making everything seem more alive. But making every voice slightly different makes it sound much bigger and more alive, in a way. You can tweak them so that they sound more like other analog classics, too, hence a lot of patches that come with it that originate on the Jupiter-8. One of the things it has, if you are willing to put in the time, are thousands of "hidden" trim pots that you can tweak so that each voice is ever so slightly different from the others.
